distance sensor series
The distance sensor series is a radar-based precise distance measurement sensor designed for challenging environments in the hot metal and steel industry. It measures distances from 200 mm to 20,000 mm, with single micrometer accuracy up to 5,000 mm. This sensor operates reliably in conditions of dirt, dust, extreme heat, and aerosols. With its compact size and IP68-rated housing, it ensures high precision with low maintenance, even in harsh environments.
level sensor series
The level sensor series is an ultra-robust sensor for real-time level and freeboard measurements in hot metal processes. It measures levels from up to 20,000 mm with micrometer accuracy and is suitable for narrow viewing channels with a variable opening angle of min. ±2°. The sensor's IP68-rated housing, along with cooling options and ceramic shields, provides precise and reliable measurements in extreme heat and dust, directly above molds, tundishes, or ladles.
scout sensor series
The scout sensor series is a radar-based object detector for the metal and steel industry. It detects objects within a range of 200 mm to 5,000 mm and works effectively in conditions with fog, dirt, and cooling water. The scout series features an IP68-rated housing and compact design, providing fast, real-time detection with reliable performance in challenging environments.
wtl Series
The wtl series is a comprehensive measurement solution for continuous casting and hot rolling of flats, longs, or heavy plates. It features a modular arrangement with IP68-rated sensors and a process unit, supporting up to 100 meters of distance between sensors and the process unit. The system communicates via Modbus/TCP, with additional interfaces available, including TCP/IP, REST, and MQTT. This series enables precise in-line interventions and real-time geometrical information from the earliest stages of casting, enhancing process control and reducing rework.
